Well, it’s official. Dahli is pregnant with a huarizo. That’s what they call a cria (baby) that has an alpaca for a father and llama for a mother.
The Incident
It happened early Saturday morning. I heard it first. Orgling. If you don’t already know, an orgle is the sound a male alpaca makes when romancing a female. If you read my last blog (if you didn’t, you should have) all the alpaca girls are already pregnant.
The Nature of Poo
I am lying in the sun this morning, watching my human rake poo. There is a lot of poo on a ranch: alpaca and llama (the exotics), pig, goat (ugh), dogs and cats (the domestics).
