This morning I’m rearranging the straw in my condo, once again musing at how complicated humans are. Mine just returned from what she calls a “wellness retreat.” When she comes back she’s so relaxed and full of warmth that she glows. And when she’s around us we get all warm » Continue Reading.
Being a present
So I’m lying here in my condo, burrowed in the straw and musing because it’s really far too cold to do anything else. I’ve been thinking about how complicated humans are and how difficult it must be for them to get through life.
For example, my human was cleaning the » Continue Reading.
Hollywood Here I Come
OMG!
A few minutes ago I overheard my human tell her mate,Randy, that QH6 Matt Rogers is going to be here Wednesday morning! With his camera! I’m going to be a television star! OMG I’m going to need hair, makeup and a mani-pedi cause I’m still shedding, and my human » Continue Reading.
Tying a Knot
Well it’s Monday morning, and I’m lying in my condo musing about the weekend.
We had our first wedding here at the ranch! When I overheard my human talking about it, it confused me. What the heck is a wedding? Apparently it’s a celebration of two humans “tying the knot.”
Spring Fever
Ok, Little Man has to go.
We’ve put up with him all winter, which wasn’t so terrible while I was burrowed deep inside my pig-condo. Billy kept him company while I watched – an interesting situation during a long, white winter – but now? Not so much. It was great » Continue Reading.
What’s it all about, Waldo?
Well this is the last day of November, and I’m lying here in my condo, looking up at my (normally-sparkling) chandelier, and noticing how very dusty it is. My human hasn’t cleaned it in awhile…what’s that all about?
And what is it about this time of year? First we » Continue Reading.
Change
Well it’s the first week of Fall. Where did the summer go? All of a sudden the mornings are cool, and my coat is finally growing back. This is our favorite time of year here at the Ranch, as it signals change and new things. My human shifts into high » Continue Reading.
Our guardian
Whew – What a night! I’m truly exhausted.
Jazzy woke me up, as usual, with her annoying barking. This time, however, she didn’t’ let up. Now, in my experience on this Ranch, that means trouble. So, I poked my head out of my condo just in time to see a » Continue Reading.
What’s in a name?
Well I’m lounging by the pool, in the shade, musing about the “dog days” of summer. What’s that about? Why a dog? Anyway, the summer is almost over and I haven’t blogged once, and I’ve hardly seen my human. She’s been going around the clock; bottle feeding two of the » Continue Reading.
Hunkering Down
It’s been several months since I’ve blogged…Here at the ranch we’ve spent fall and winter “hunkering down” as my human calls it. When I first heard that phrase, I consulted my pigtionary, which defines it ”to settle in or dig for a sustained period of time.”
